What we handle
Overflight and landing permits
Every state your aircraft crosses or lands in can require its own authorisation, issued by its own authority, on its own timetable. We file each one, track it to a permit number, and chase it when the authority goes quiet.
What we do
Every item, handled by a named coordinator
- 01Identify every permit the route needs, including states you only overfly.
- 02File with each civil aviation authority in the format that authority actually wants.
- 03Track each application to an issued permit number rather than a submission receipt.
- 04Chase the authorities that go quiet, in their working hours and their language.
- 05Revise and refile when the route, the dates or the aircraft change.
- 06Hold the permit numbers in the trip dossier so the crew can produce them on the ground.
What we need from you
- Aircraft registration, type and serial number.
- Certificate of airworthiness, registration and insurance, current.
- Operator's air operator certificate, for commercial flights.
- Full route with dates, times and every intermediate stop.
- Crew and passenger names, nationalities and passport details.
- Purpose of flight, and whether it is private or commercial.
LEAD TIME
Lead times vary enormously by state, from same day in much of Europe to a week or more for parts of Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Saudi Arabia, India and China are consistently the longest on our network. We tell you the real lead time when you send the route, not an average.
Overflight permit lead times →WHAT GOES WRONG
A missing overflight permit does not delay a trip, it reroutes or cancels it. Authorities do not issue retroactively, and an aircraft that enters controlled airspace without one creates a problem for the operator that outlasts the trip.
Where
Overflight and landing permits, wherever the trip goes
We run this at any airport the trip needs. A few of the ones we are asked for most:
