Handling at Lagos (DNMM)
We handle overflight permits, slots, flight plans, fuel, customs and the turnaround at Lagos Murtala Muhammed. One coordinator owns the stop at Lagos, from the first filing to wheels up.

The field
What DNMM is actually like
Lagos is West Africa's commercial centre and its busiest business aviation destination. It has a dedicated general aviation terminal and a substantial private movement count driven by the energy and finance sectors.
Operating brief
What we handle before you file
Permits
The NCAA issues both landing and overflight permits, and the process needs starting early. Documentation is checked thoroughly and incomplete filings cause real delay rather than a query.
Slots and parking
No formal slot control, but parking and ground resources are finite and worth confirming in advance. Fuel availability has historically been a genuine planning variable in the region and is confirmed rather than assumed.
Customs and border
Nigerian entry requirements are applied strictly and cover crew as well as passengers. Visa arrangements want starting alongside the permit rather than after it.
When it gets tight
December into early January, when the diaspora returns and demand across Nigerian aviation rises sharply. The harmattan haze from December through February is a schedule reliability factor.
On the ground
Off the aircraft and into the car
The general aviation terminal is separate from the main halls, which helps. Lagos traffic is the defining constraint on any ground plan here and it is worse than visitors expect. Vetted drivers and a realistic departure time matter more than anything on the ramp.

Where we go when DNMM will not take the trip
Every one of these is a field we would put to you with the reason attached, not a list of nearby runways.
- DNAA
Abuja Nnamdi Azikiwe
The federal capital, newer facilities, and the field for government business.
- DNPO
Port Harcourt
The Niger Delta, and the field for the offshore energy sector.
- DGAA
Accra Kotoka
Ghana, an hour west, and often the simpler regional option for permits and fuel.
